Scott Anderson

Training & Quality Manager

Scott Anderson joined Scottish Bakers in 2008 as a Training Advisor and now heads up NFDT's training operations for bakery and Food and Drink Manufacturers throughout the U.K. He is passionate about the baking industry and sustaining the skills within it.

Scott began his career in 1985 with Newlands Home Bakery (Glasgow) where he learned his craft from old-school bakers. Scott moved into the supermarket sector in 1990, first with Safeway (now Morrisons) and then with Asda and Sainsbury.

Scott's most recent commercial role was production manager at California Cake & Cookie in Glasgow where he gained valuable experience in buying, human resources, planning and auditing and working closely with NPD and Technical departments.

About Us

National Food and Drink Training (NFDT) was established in 2015 as a rebrand of Scottish Bakers training provision. This was a direct result of the strengthening of its portfolio to include lean manufacturing techniques and the delivery of the new Food Manufacturing Excellence (FME) qualifications.
