SDS Modern Apprenticeship Evaluation

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) are conducting telephone research with Scottish Bakers current candidates as follows:

The Research and Evaluation team will be surveying Modern Apprentices in training during February and early March 2019. This survey was last conducted in 2014 so it will provide much more up to date information about:

  • Why people choose to undertake an MA
  • The factors which are important to them when choosing a course
  • The main ways training is undertaken
  • The support they receive when doing the apprenticeship
  • Their perceptions of the quality of training
  • Whether they would recommend an apprenticeship to others.

This year it will also include questions about travel to work and training.

Please take the survey as you will then be entered into a prize draw and could win £100.00 in shopping vouchers!

National Food and Drink Training (NFDT) was established in 2015 as a rebrand of Scottish Bakers training provision. This was a direct result of the strengthening of its portfolio to include lean manufacturing techniques and the delivery of the new Food Manufacturing Excellence (FME) qualifications.
